    A literary text where the narrator meanders in Nicosia, remembering what people he met there told him about their city, their country and their story. The narrator is accompanied by a Cypriot who is a good French speaker, a young mother of one, and he makes her cross the green line for the first time, militarised border line separating the Greek part from the Turkish part of Nicosia. Their walk leads them to the mosque. The text-stroll is the opportunity for a subjective anamnesis of the narrator in echo with the anamnesis of the Cypriot national history.

    Texte littéraire où le narrateur déambule dans Nicosie, se remémorant ce que les gens qu’il y a rencontrés lui ont dit de leur ville, de leur pays, de leur histoire. Le narrateur se fait accompagner d’une Chypriote parlant assez bien le français, jeune mère d’un enfant, et la fait traverser pour la première fois la green line, ligne frontière militarisée séparant la partie grecque de Nicosie de la partie turque. Leurs pas les mènent jusqu’à la mosquée. Le texte-promenade est l’occasion d’une anamnèse subjective du narrateur, en écho à l’anamnèse de l’histoire nationale chypriote.
