Bolívar Echeverría: la aventura de la Teoría Crítica al barroquismo

    Con el objetivo de evaluar panorámicamente la trascendencia de la contribución del mirador Bolívar Echeverría para el relanzamiento del pensamiento crítico en el siglo XXI, este artículo se desdobla en cuatro coordenadas complementarias. Primero, da cuenta de la preeminencia de la Teoría de la Crisis como plataforma de la Teoría Crítica y, desde ahí, de la relevancia de descifrar la ambivalencia esquizoide de la modernidad capitalista para comprender los retos del siglo XXI: el siglo que justo se caracteriza por el entrecruzamiento más radical de progreso y devastación. Segundo, se muestra la profunda importancia geohistórica del 68 alemán que, en su combinación con el anti-imperialismo latinoamericano, fue vital para el nacimiento de la perspectiva teóricopolítica de Bolívar Echeverría. Tercero, se ensaya una especie de diálogo póstumo entre la Dialéctica de la Ilustración de Horkheimer y Adorno y la innovadora crítica a la modernidad capitalista fundada por Echeverría, mostrando la articulación que los une pero también la superación que él realiza desde su mirador crítico de aquella inolvidable obra. Por último, se muestran los alcances que pueden abrirse desde su innovadora concepción en torno al barroquismo para re-leer la historia de América Latina.

    In order to assess panoramically the transcendence of the mirador Bolívar Echeverría to revival of critical thought in the twenty-first century, this article unfold its argumentation into four complementary coordinates. First, presents the preeminence of Crisis Theory as platform of Critical Theory and, from there, analizes the relevance to decipher the schizoid ambivalence of capitalist modernity to understand the challenges of the XXI century: the century that just is characterized by the more radical combination of progress and devastation. Second, it shows the deep geo-historical importance of 68 in Germany, in combination with the Latin American anti -imperialism, as vital key for the birth of the theoretical and policy Echeverría`s perspective . Third, exposes a kind of posthumous dialogue between the Dialectic of Enlightenment of Horkheimer and Adorno and innovative critique of capitalist modernity founded by Echeverría, showing not only the articulation that unites them but also the overcoming that he made from his critical viewpoint of that memorable work. Finally, in this paper analizes the scopes that can be opened from the innovative conceptualization of Echeverría about the baroque to re- read the global history of Latin America.
