  • June 8 was declared the "World Day of the Oceans". So, distrusting of all kind of paraphernalia, the following article is dedicated to what is happening about climate change, USA decision to abandon the Paris Accord and some relative subjects as introduction to a major problem related to the reservoirs of methane hydrates in the sea floor as well as in the artic permafrost. The evolution of the enormous amounts of methane trapped in the sea bed in the form of solid hydrates presents a challenge and an associated risk which is for to be carefully considered.
