    Este es el segundo estudio parcial de una serie sobre la magnífica colección documental de Privilegios Rodados originales que custodia el Archivo de la Casa Ducal de Medinaceli, un buen número de ellos inéditos. De casi el centenar de pergaminos que constituyen la colección, presentamos aquí tres privilegios que fueron emitidos por la cancillería real castellano-leonesa de Alfonso X el Sabio entre los años 1254 y 1261. Este monarca reglamentó el privilegio con signo rodado y sello de plomo pendiente, sin duda el tipo documental más admirado desde la Edad Media por su solemnidad, belleza, elegancia, jerarquía, prestancia, vistosidad, fiabilidad y perdurabilidad. Y en los ejemplares alfonsinos, ya definitiva y completamente en lengua romance y con un cromatismo que empieza a ser singular, se reflejan esas características señaladas y las formalidades de las que se rodearon estos documentos medievales para garantizar su autenticidad

    This is the second partial study of a series on the magnificent documentary collection of original “Privilegios Rodados which is watched over in the Ducal Archive of Medinaceli; a great number of them unpublished. From the nearly hundred of legal charters that constitute the collection, we introduce here three privilegios sent out by The Castile-Leon Royal Chancellery of Alfonso X The Wise between the years 1254 and 1261. This monarch regulated the privilegio with signo rodado and the hanging lead seal; undoubtedly, the documentary type more admired from the Middle Ages due to its solemnity, beauty, elegance, hierarchy, performance, brightness, reliability and durability. In these copies of Alfonso, definitely and completely written in the Romance language and with a chromaticism which starts to be peculiar, it can be observed those signalled features and the surrounding formalities of these medieval documents to guarantee their authenticity
