Resumen de Aproximación inicial a la esencia del dinero: en el contexto de la crisis contemporánea

El enfoque del presente artículo podría considerarse “metafísico”, por cuanto, en última instancia, pretende profundizar en el tipo de “ser” que corresponde al dinero. Se distinguen, para lograrlo, los tres tipos de bienes presentes desde los clásicos: el útil (bonum utile), el deleitable (bonum delectabile) y el bien en sí o bien digno (bonum honestum); se los diferencia y relaciona; y se establece que la realidad del dinero es estricta y exclusivamente instrumental: el dinero es el instrumento por antonomasia, que agota todo su ser en su ser-instrumento.

The focus of this article could be considered “metaphysical”, because at the end it pretends to go deeper into the type of “being” that corresponds to money. To achieve this, we distinguish three kinds of goods that have been present since the classics: the useful (bonum utile), the enjoyable (bonum delectabile) and the worthy or good in itself (bonum honestum); they are distinguished and related; and it’s established that the reality of money is strictly and exclusively instrumental: money is the instrument par excellence that depletes its whole being in its being-instrument.
