    La principal preocupación intelectual de K. Wojtyla fue siempre de tipo ético. Precisamente para fundamentar la eticidad del acto humano inició sus estudios sobre Scheler. Pero no sólo este autor, sino la fenomenología en su conjunto, se mostrarán insuficientes para su propósito. Por eso, acudirá de nuevo a la metafísica. Y, al final del proceso, resultarán enriquecidas tanto la fenomenología como la metafísica misma.
