  La desaparición del ll amado «socialismo real» ha ocultado la vigencia del análisis marxista de la realidad social. Uno de los conjuntos de hipótesis que ha mantenido mejor su capacidad heurística es el relativo a la teoría marxista de las necesidades. Las hipótesis marxistas se han desarroll ado en debate con otras concepciones convencionales. Actualmente, el feminismo y el análisis ecologista de las necesidades están renovando las concepciones de Hell er y Habermas.

  The disappearance of the so-called «real socialism» has concealed the validity of the Marxist analysis of social reality. One of the sets of hypotheses that has best maintained its heuristic capacity is the Marxist theory of needs. The Marxist hypotheses have been developed in debate with other conventional conceptions. Currently, feminism and the ecological analysis of needs are renewing the views of Heller and Habermas.
