A new serotype of Pseudomonas savastanoi

  • A new antigenic strain of Ps. savastanoi isolated from tumors of an alive tree with tuberculosis is reported in this paper. The results obtained from the investigation of its biochemical, serological and phytopathological properties are described. It is to be remarked this strain is urease and gelatinase positive. These characteristics are not in accordance with the normal characteristics of Ps. savastanoi. The biochemical differences among other strains of Ps. savastanoi and sensitivity to antibiotics are also included.
