Este artículo estudia la evolución de la economía de Castilla y León en el año 1994. Analiza los sectores productivos que configuran su estructura sectorial, destacando las consecuencias del sector agrario en los movimientos cíclicos de su actividad económica. Dado quela recuperación nacional ha sido originada por los sectores turismo y exterior, la autora considera cual hasido el efecto que éstos han podido ejercer sobre la economía regional, llegando a la conclusión de que es poco sensible a sus influencias. Finalmente, se destaca el momento que vive esta comunidad autónoma, que se materializa en una cociencia de transformación que requiere una adecuada vertebración de su territorio.

This paper studies the performance of the economy of Castile-Léon in 1994. It analyzes the productive sectors that make up its sectoral structure, emphasizing the impact of agriculture on the cyclical movemnts in the region's economic activity. Considering that the national recovery was spurred by the tourism and external sectors, the author weighs their impact on the regional economy and arrives at the conclusion that it is not verysensitive to these factors. Lastly, the paper discusses the region's current situation, characterized by anawareness of the changing circumstances that will require structural reforms.
