  • The eight of June was held the "World day of the Oceans" to bring to the general memory the vital importance of the oceans in the human life as well as the urgent need to develop technologies that can help a sustainable enviroment in our planet.

    The article intent to give a quick and light overview to the challenger we have in front of us.

    The second part refers to the present situation of the shipbuilding industry over the world and the different reactions after the deep crisis suffered in the recent years.
