Klein features wildlife photographer Paul Bertner's photograph of an insect resting on a leaf, spreading its wings and launched into the darkness. Udzungwa is part of the Eastern Arc Mountains, which span Tanzania and Kenya in east Africa. Because of its remote location, the rainforest here hasn't attracted the same attention as its counterparts in central Africa, like the Congo rainforest, and so remains largely untouched. Its isolation also means that Udzungwa is home to plants and animals that have evolved in unique ways. Thousands of species here are found nowhere else, and Udzungwa is commonly referred to as Africa's Galapagos Islands.
