Resumen de Análisis del Estado Percibido del Sector Náutico por los Grupos de Interés: El Caso de las Islas Baleares

Los objetivos del estudio son analizar las creencias y actitudes que asumen los profesionales del sector náutico en relación con las particularidades y dificultades que atraviesa el sector. Para alcanzar estos objetivos se han realizado entrevistas en profundidad estructuradas a representantes de asociaciones y empresas náuticas, instituciones públicas y Cámara de Comercio. Los datos recogidos se han analizado mediante el programa de análisis cualitativo NVIVO 11. El análisis de resultados revela que las principales dificultades se relacionan con la normativa y fiscalidad, la competencia ilegal y la indefinición del perfil del turista náutico. Esta última provoca una imprecisión al estimar el número de turistas náuticos que acuden a un destino y que afecta, por tanto, al cálculo del impacto económico, social y medioambiental.

The aim of this paper is to examine the beliefs and attitudes that the professionals of the nautical sector have towards the particularities and difficulties the sector is going through. To achieve these goals, long interviews with structured questionnaires have been given to agents of associations and nautical firms, public institutions, and the Chamber of Commerce.
The qualitative analysis program NVIVO 11 has been used to analyze the gathered data. The findings reveal that the main difficulties are related with normative and taxation, illegal supply, and the lack of definition of the nautical tourist profile. This absence of definition causes a vagueness when estimating the total number of nautical tourists that visit a destination. Thus, this affects the evaluation of the economic, social, and environmental impacts.
