    El pasado 13 de febrero, el Comité Europeo de las Regiones emitió un Dictamen con el objeto de pronunciarse acerca de la propuesta de la Proclamación interinstitucional realizada por el Parlamento Europeo, el Consejo y la Comisión, sobre el pilar europeo de derechos sociales y Documento de reflexión sobre la dimensión social de Europa, elaborada a raíz de la declaración de intenciones del presidente de la Comisión Jean-Claude Juncker en el año 2015, de desarrollar una iniciativa para lograr una convergencia renovada en la zona del euro, teniendo en cuenta las realidades cambiantes de las sociedades europeas y del mundo del trabajo, y complementar de esta manera, lo conseguido en lo que respecta a la protección social de todos los ciudadanos en la Unión Europea.

    Tras realizar unas consideraciones previas sobre el contexto y el procedimiento seguido para el establecimiento de esta iniciativa, en el presente comentario se concreta el estado actual de los aspectos sustantivos objeto de la emisión del Dictamen, para posteriormente, analizar las diferentes recomendaciones de enmienda y políticas realizadas al respecto.

    Last February 13, the European Committee of the Regions issued an Opinion to declare that it presents the inter-institutional Proclamation offered by the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission, on the european pillar of social rights and the Document of reflection on the social dimension of Europe, elaborated following the declaration of intentions of the president of the Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in 2015, to develop an initiative to achieve a renewed convergence in the Euro area, taking into account the changing realities of the companies European Union and the world of work, and to complement by this means, what has been achieved with regard to the social protection of all citizens in the European Union.

    After realizing a few previous considerations on the context and the procedure followed for the establishment of this initiative, in the present comment there is concrete the current condition of the substantive aspects of the emission of the Opinion, for later, to analyze the different recommendations of amendment and policy realized in the matter.
