Resumen de Pintores aragoneses en la capital mundial del comercio artístico (1870-1918):: Cuadros de género al gusto del mercado parisino

Durante las últimas décadas del siglo XIX y el comienzo del XX, hasta la Primera Guerra Mundial, la capital francesa fue la cuna de un moderno Mercado del Arte, en el que las iniciativas privadas fueron reemplazando en importancia a los Salones institucionales. Numerosos artistas españoles se sintieron atraídos por las nuevas posibilidades que ofrecía el sistema artístico francés. A través de este estudio arrojo información sobre la inserción de varios pintores aragoneses en este contexto creativo, evidenciando cómo la práctica de la pintura de género les permitió triunfar comercialmente, difundiendo imágenes inspiradas en la pintura holandesa del siglo XVII, la escuela rococó francesa y escenas del tipismo hispano encuadradas en los siglos XVII y XVIII.

During the last decades of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, until World War I, the French capital was the cradle of a modern Art Market, in which private initiatives were replacing in importance the institutional Salons. Several Spanish artists were attracted by the new possibilities offered by the French artistic system. Through this study I present information about the insertion of some Aragonese painters in this creative context, evidencing how the practice of genre painting allowed them to succeed commercially, spreading images inspired by 17th century Dutch paintings, the French Rococo school and typical Spanish scenes set in the 17th and 18th centuries.
