    • The article discusses educational tools for enhancing active learning. The focus of the article is China's National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest (NUEDC), which is a biannual competition in which teams consisting of three individuals must complete an entire electronic design process. An in-depth discussion on how NUEDC can be used as a tool for enhancing active learning is presented, which includes an overview of the authors' research methodology, an overview of the three phases of students' involvement in NUEDC, and students' reflections regarding how significant the contest was in enhancing their active learning skills.
