The aim of this work is twofold:
- Seize marital behaviour in the tribal environment (Ouled Nehar tribe).The question of ethno-spatial and familial endogamy in this tribe will be at the center of this first objective;
- The second objective assigned by this paper is to evaluate the effects of inbreeding on the health of the descendant. of this rural population.
The analysis of a sample of 371couples collected in 2015, taken randomly in the polyclinics of Sidi Djilali and Al-abed, shows an extremely raised ethno-spatial endogamy, with a decline of family endogamy and confirms the increase of the incidence of morbid affections among blood relations. The homozygosity’s importance caused by the very high frequency of inbreeding is at the origin of the appearance of latent diseases in this population

Le présent travail vise un double objectif:
- Saisir le comportement matrimonial dans le milieu tribal (Tribu d’Ouled Nehar). La question de l’endogamie ethno spatiale et familiale, dans cette tribu, sera au centre de ce primo objectif;
- Le second but assigné par ce papier consiste à évaluer les effets de la consanguinité sur la santé de la descendance de cette population rurale.
Pour ce faire nous avons mené une enquête de terrain sur un échantillon de 371 couples pris au hasard dans les polycliniques de Sidi Djilali et d’Al-abed. Les résultats de cette enquête menée en 2015, font état d’une endogamie ethno-spatiale extrêmement élevée, avec un déclin d’endogamie familiale et confirme l’augmentation de l’incidence d’affections morbides chez les consanguins.
L’homozygotie importante engendrée par le niveau très élevé de la consanguinité est à l’origine de l’apparition des maladies latentes dans cette population
