The paper examines the evolution of Heidegger’s reading of Kierkegaard between the 20s and the 30s–40s. Although Heidegger begins by situating the Danish philosopher in the wake of Augustine and Luther, he will eventually inscribe Kierkegaard within a horizon that is no longer that of Christian philosophy, but that of nineteenth-century German thought. Thus, in the Contributions to Philosophy and in other contemporary texts, Kierkegaard forms a “historial” constellation with Hölderlin, Hegel, Schelling, and Nietzsche, while also becoming, insofar as in Heidegger’s view he still remains deeply misunderstood, the mirror of the distorted reception of Being and Time.

L’article examine la manière dont la lecture heideggérienne de Kierkegaard évolue entre les années 1920 et les années 1930-1940. S’il commence par situer le philosophe danois dans le sillage d’Augustin et de Luther, Heidegger finit cependant, dans les Beiträge zur Philosophie et d’autres textes contemporains, par l’inscrire dans un horizon qui n’est plus celui d’une certaine philosophie chrétienne, mais celui de la pensée allemande du XIXe siècle. Formant une constellation « historiale » avec Hölderlin, Hegel, Schelling et Nietzsche, le Kierkegaard de Heidegger devient aussi, de manière tout à fait singulière, et en tant qu’il demeure un penseur essentiellement incompris, le miroir de la réception faussée d’Être et temps.
