    El presente artículo ofrece una reflexión sobre el estatus de las asignaturas de filosofía y de ética cívica en el currículo educativo oficial de grado medio en España, tras la reforma legislativa de 2013, con el fin de poner de relieve la importancia de las humanidades y de la filosofía para el desarrollo de la cultura cívica, universal y cosmopolita.

    This article offers a reflection on the status of Philosophy and Civic Ethics in the official school curriculum in Spain, after the reform of 2013, in order to point out the value of the Humanities and Philosophy for the development of a civic and cosmopolitan culture and awareness.
