Resumen de Video reflections in initial teacher education.
The article focuses on reflective practice in teacher education, the use of video recordings of student teachers' reflections on the lessons that they teach, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education course that was developed at the University of Ulster by the author. The pilot study of teaching practices allowed students to choose either posting their reflections online in written or video-diary form. The advantages and disadvantages of using video clips and webcams and the novelty value of technology are discussed.
