The article discusses a workshop wherein the multi-user virtual environment (MUVE) "Second Life" was used to help human resources personnel develop skills in offering and receiving feedback in a constructive manner. Participants emerged with a sense that the "Second Life" environment had helped them put theory to practical use. An analysis of post-workshop survey data indicated that the experience also left participants with a higher level of comfort with role-play games, and increased confidence in their ability to manage feedback.
