Resumen de Determinación de linfocitos T CD4 y CD8 en niños VIH positivos con terapia

  Se determinó los niveles CD4 y CD8 en niños VIH positivos del estado Zulia como parámetro de eficacia de tratamientos antirretrovirales. Se estudiaron 50 niños (1-12 años) de la Fundación Innocens. La subpoblación linfocitos CD4 y CD8 se determinó mediante citometría de flujo y se suministraron tratamientos antirreotrovirales en tripletas. Los datos se analizaron mediante programa SPSS Windows, versión11,0; 2.001, siendo significativo p<0,05. Ningún niño resultó inmunosuprimido, mantuvieron elevados los niveles CD4, CD8 y la relación CD4/CD8, mostrando que estaban respondiendo a terapia antirretroviral. Los análisis estadísticos evidenciaron que no hubo diferencias significativas (p>0,05) entre los niveles CD4, CD8 y CD4/CD8, y la prueba de Tukey reveló que los tratamientos que tuvieron diferencias significativas (p<0,05) fueron: AZT+3TC+Nelfinavi r con 3TC+Nelfinavir+Abacavir y d4T+Lopinavir/Ritonavir+Abacavir. Los linfocitos CD4 y CD8 demostraron ser un índice para guiar las decisiones sobre el tratamiento individual y para evaluar si la terapia anti-VIH están siendo efectivas o no.

  This study evaluates the levels of CD4 and CD8 in HIV positive children Zulia state as parameter of efficiency of antirretroviral treatments. 50 children Innocens Foundat ion ages 1-12 living with or affected by HIV were studied. The subpopulation CD4 and CD8 linphocytes decided by means of flow citometry and the antirreotroviral treatments given by triplicate. The analysis information realized means of the program SPSS Windows, version11,0; 2.001, being significant everything p<0,05. None child managed to be inmunosuppressed, they met levels of CD4, CD8 y CD4/CD8 high, being demonstrated so they were answering to the therapy antirretroviral. The statistical analyses demonstrated that were no significant differences (p> 0,05) between the levels of CD4, CD8 and CD4/CD8, and Tukey's test revealed that only treatments had significant differences (p <0,05) were: AZT+3TC+Nelfinavir with 3TC+Nelfinavir+Abacavir and d4T+Lopinavir/Ritonavir+Abacavir. The linfocitos CD4 and CD8 demonstrated to be an index to guide the decisions on the individual treatment and to evaluate if the therapy anti VIH is effective or not.
