La obesidad de las mujeres embarazadas y su asistencia al control nutricional en el hospital gineco-pediátrico de los mochis

    Se presentan los resultados de la investigación sobre la obesidad pre y post gestacional de las mujeres embarazadas en relación a su asistencia – inasistencia al control nutricional en el Hospital Gineco – Pediátrico de Los Mochis, durante el primer semestre de 2017. Mediante un método comparativo y técnicas estadísticas de pruebas de hipótesis, en especial análisis de varianza y pruebas t, se encontró que existe una diferencia significativa entre las madres que van a consulta nutricional y las que no lo hacen. Las que no asistieron obtuvieron una diferencia promedio de IMC de 4.9 kg/m2, mientras que las que lo hicieron presentaron una diferencia de 3.1 kg/m2. Esto no quiere decir que todas las que fueron a consulta nutricional lograron controlar su peso y viceversa, no todas las que madres que no fueron terminaron con mayor obesidad. Tampoco se pudo observar claramente si las madres que fueron a consulta cambiaron de nivel de obesidad pre y post parto.

    También se encontró que no existe diferencia significativa entre las madres urbanas y aquellas que viven en el medio rural, tampoco entre las que son amas de casa y las que trabajan, pero si hay diferencias en los resultados entre las madres con un nivel medio superior y superior y aquellas que no tienen estudios superiores a los de secundaria.

    We present the results of the research on pre and post gestational obesity of pregnant women in relation to their attendance - lack of attendance at nutritional control at the Gyneco - Pediatric Hospital of Los Mochis, during the first semester of 2017. Through a comparative and statistical techniques of hypothesis testing, especially analysis of variance and t tests, found that there is a significant difference between mothers going to nutritional consultation and those who do not. Those that did not attend obtained an average difference of BMI of 4.9 kg / m2, whereas those that did present a difference of 3.1 kg / m2.

    This is not to say that all those who went to nutritional consultation managed to control their weight and vice versa, not all mothers who were not ended with greater obesity. Nor could it be clearly seen if the mothers who went to the consultation changed their level of pre and postpartum obesity.

    It was also found that there is no significant difference between urban mothers and those living in the rural areas, nor between those who are housewives and those who work, but if there are differences in results between mothers with a higher average level and higher education and those who do not have higher education than secondary school.
