La sociedad contemporánea atraviesa una aguda crisis antropológica que se manifiesta en el miedo y la incapacidad para comprometerse. La ausencia de generatividad que ello provoca se ha convertido en el principal desafío social. El presente artículo desea profundizar sobre el significado de la experiencia de la promesa e indicar algunos lugares fundamentales donde el hombre puede redescubrir la grandeza de su vocación y aprender a vivir la promesa como fuente de esperanza.

The contemporaneous society experiences an anthropological crisis that it appears in the fear and the inability to make a compromise. This comes with a lack of generativity that has become the main social challenge nowadays. The current article attempts to study in depth the meaning of the experience of “promise” and it also points out the main and fundamental “rooms” where mankind can rediscover the greatness of their call and learn to live promise as a source of hope.
