    The aim of this paper is the analysis of two texts (Le concept de Dieu après Auschwitz. Une voix juive and The Unanswered Question. Some Thoughts on Science, Atheism and the Notion of God) and, accordingly, two aspects that are clear examples of Hans Jonas’s ideas about the relationship between God, man and the world on the one hand, and the possibility of using some conclusions advanced by the so-called hard sciences (especially physics) for defending his metaphysical, theological, and cosmological hypotheses on the other.

    Le but de cet article est d’analyser deux textes (Le concept de Dieu après Auschwitz. Une voix juive et The Unanswered Question. Some Thoughts on Science, Atheism and the Notion of God) et par conséquent deux aspects, qui sont des exemples évidents des idées de Hans Jonas, d’une part sur le rapport de Dieu avec le monde et l’homme, de l’autre sur l’intérêt de quelques résultats issus des sciences dites dures (avant tout la physique) convoqués dans ses recherches métaphysiques, théologiques, cosmogoniques.
