  • Resumen
    • It is often no easier for police trying to identify signs of human trafficking in ads. But now, a strange alliance of artificial intelligence and bitcoin is helping to automate the process. Rebecca Portnoff at the University of California and her colleagues have developed a tool to ferret out traffickers. It uses machine learning to spot common patterns in ads, and finds publicly available information from the method used to pay for them--bitcoin--to identify who placed them.
