    Els espais de memòria del territori català transfronterer es reparteixen a nord i sud dels Pirineus i estan lligats a la història i la memòria de l’exili republicà, així com a d’altres episodis històrics relacionats com els fugits de la Segona Guerra Mundial, les fortificacions militars de frontera, o la mateixa Guerra Civil espanyola en directa relació amb el territori. Des de la seva apertura al públic al febrer de l’any 2008, el Museu Memorial de l’Exili – MUME de La Jonquera s’ha convertit en l’equipament cultural catalitzador de gairebé totes les iniciatives per a la recuperació i divulgació de la memòria de l’exili republicà. La presentació d’una solvent exposició permanent, una dinàmica programació d’exposicions temporals, la participació activa en activitats relacionades amb la recerca, així com un servei educatiu amb accions cada cop més consolidades, han fet arrelar al MUME dins el teixit social i cultural del país. D’entre totes les activitats dutes a terme de manera regular, les rutes de l’exili, nucli de l’oferta del museu a través del seu servei educatiu, són l’autèntic eix comunicador del MUME amb el territori. Aquest article abordarà, de manera sintètica, l’anàlisi de les diferents rutes existents en el territori català transfronterer al voltant de la temàtica de l’exili. Des dels seus orígens com a proposta pedagògica a nivell universitari fins l’actual oferta consolidada del servei educatiu del MUME, es mostraran aquells espais establerts com a nodes, així com també seran mencionades les diferents narratives sorgides de l’execució de les diverses rutes existents. El cas particular aquí analitzat referma la capacitat de les rutes per exercir com una eina molt valuosa per tal d’encetar diferents dinàmiques de valorització del patrimoni.

    The sites of memory of the Catalan cross-border region are spread from north to south of the Pyrenees and bonded with the history and memory of the republican exile, as well as with other historical episodes such as the fugitives of the Second World War, military fortifications or the Spanish Civil War itself in relationship with the territory. From its public inauguration back in February 2008, the Exile Memorial Museum– MUME from La Jonquera has become the cultural facility in charge of organizing almost all the initiatives that account for the recovery of the republican exile memory. The implementation of a rigorous permanent exhibition, a dynamic programming of temporary exhibitions, the active participation on different research activities, besides a well consolidated educational department, collaborated altogether on strongly embedding the MUME into the social and cultural spectrum of the country itself. From all the activities organized on a regular basis, the exile tours, the core of the whole museum offer through the educational department, are the very communicative channel that connects the MUME with the territory. This paper will synthetically summarize the analysis of the different existing guided tours on the Catalan cross-border region around the subject of the republican exile. From its origins as a pedagogical proposal at a university level to the current consolidated offer from MUME educational department, sites acting as nodes and the different narratives emerging from touring practice will be shown. The particular case herepresented confirms the capacity that guided tours have in order to initiate different processes of heritagisation.
