    Esta investigación tiene por objetivo analizar los acontecimientos que tuvieron lugar en la cabecera de la II Región Militar, la ciudad de Sevilla, durante el golpe de Estado del 23-F. Su importancia radica en que rompe la idea tradicional sobre este acontecimiento, que siempre se ha considerado limitado a tres grandes protagonistas –el teniente general Jaime Milans del Bosch y Ussía, el general de división Alfonso Armada Comyn, y el teniente coronel de la Guardia Civil Antonio Tejero Molina, y dos localizaciones: Madrid y el territorio de la III Región Militar, con cabecera en Valencia
