    La teología depende estructuralmente de la tradición de la fe y sus lenguajes que, a menudo, se formaron por controversias confesionales. ¿Cómo se puede alcanzar un consenso doctrinal entre las Iglesias que permanecen fieles a la fe que sus tradiciones testimonian y, al mismo tiempo, no son atrapadas por un lenguaje que se excluye mutuamente? El artículo intenta dar una respuesta presentando el método adoptado por el diálogo luterano-católico-romano sobre la justificación, que en 1999 condujo a la firma de la Declaración conjunta sobre la Doctrina de la Justificación.

    Theology is structurally dependent on the tradition of faith and its languages that were often shaped by confessional controversies. How can a doctrinal consensus be reached between Churches that remain faithful to the faith witnessed by their traditions and at the same time are not caught by a mutually exclusive language? The article tries to give an answer presenting the method adopted by the Lutheran-Roman-Catholic dialogue on the justification, that in 1999 lead to the signing of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification.
