  • Resumen
    • An article discussing the spatial mobility of the creative class in urban studies theorist Richard Florida's creative class group theory is presented. Examining data from 11 European cities, the author argues that Europe's professional creative class is less mobile than Florida's concept accounts for. Addressing the urban and economic development spurred by the creative class, the author analyzes various members of the creative class by mobility, highlighting key differences between young professionals and members of the creative class with young children and less mobility. Differences between the creative classes of Europe and North America and the impact of soft location factors in the mobility of the creative class are also addressed.
