  • Resumen
    • In July, tantalizing evidence emerged of what would be the first moon found around a planet beyond our solar system. Although the exomoon's existence has yet to be confirmed, new results show that it may be unusually large and may have been made by some unknown mechanism. The moon was found by David Kipping and Alex Teachey at Columbia University, New York, using data from the Kepler spacecraft. Although still hypothetical, confirmation of its existence would mark a new chapter in our search for life in the cosmos, causing many to wonder what the moon might look like.
