    Este artículo presenta una revisión y actualización del concepto de currículo, a la luz de recientes investigaciones y mediante una secuencia didáctica de fácil lectura y comprensión. Se parte de una distinción entre fenómeno y reflexión para delimitar el currículo en el marco de las ciencias educacionales luego se explica la etimología y un breve esbozo histórico para arribar a las definiciones técnicas y conceptuales, las interpretaciones y los distintos tipos de currículos. Se finaliza explicando los niveles internos y la terminología específica que se usa hoy en la teoría y praxis del currículo.

    This article revises and updates the concept of curriculum in the light of recent investigations and by using a didactic sequence that is easily read and understood. It begins by distinguishing between phenomenon and reflection in order to place curriculum within the framework of educational sciences; it then explains the etymology and a brief historical outline of curriculum in order to arrive at technical and conceptual definitions, interpretations and different types of curricula. The study ends by explaining the internal levels and specific terminology used today in curriculum theory and praxis.
