Funciones del director y su relación con la capacitación del docente

    El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre las funciones administrativas de los directores y el nivel de capacitación del docente para atender los problemas de lecto-escritura. Los datos recopilados se analizaron con las técnicas cuantitativas de categorización y distribución de frecuencias: 1.) Aná- lisis descriptivo porcentual, 2.) Construcción de índices y coeficientes, 3.) Análisis de asociación. Los resultados revelaron un bajo nivel en las funciones administrativas, expresadas en un coeficiente de 33%, mientras que el índice de capacitación alcanzó un nivel de 31%, que refleja la falta de dominio del docente, de las habilidades conceptuales, técnicas y humanísticas del aprendizaje.

    The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the administrative functions of school directors and training levels of the teachers in the management of reading-writing problems. The data collected was analyzed by following quantitative techniques of categorization and frequency distribution. 1) Descriptive analysis of percentages, 2) construction of indexes and coefficients, 3) associative analysis. The results showed a low level of administrative functions with a coefficient of 33%; while the training index reached a 31% level, which reflects a low command of the conceptualistic, technical and humanistic abilities of learning on the part of the teacher.
