Resumen de Delusional you

Dan Jones

  • Jones finds out how they live in an age of mass delusion and very few of them are immune. Most delusions are far more mundane, such as an unfounded belief that an individual is exceptionally talented, that people are out to get to an individual or that a celebrity is in love with. In fact, more than 90 percent of people hold delusional beliefs. In order to answer why are some people are more prone to delusions than other and how to tame delusional tendecies, people need to be clear about what a delusion is. Lisa Bortolotti at the University of Birmingham, UK, says that there's a loose way of talking about delusions like when people talk about the God delusion, which simply means any belief that's likely to be false and is held despite lack of evidence, or even in spite of the evidence.
