Resumen de Les rates pinyades (Mammalia : Chiroptera): fòssils del jaciment paleontològic del Pouàs : Sant Antoni de Portmany, Eivissa

S'estudia la fauna de rates pinyades del Pleistocè superior i Holocè del jaciment del Pouàs (Sant Antoni de Portmany, Eivissa). S'han diagnosticat 581 restes que pertanyen a 5-6 espècies: Rhinolophus sp. cf. mehelyi/euryale, Rhinolophus hipposideros, Myotis myotis, Myotis cf. emarginatus i Plecotus cf. austriacus. La fauna pre-humana de les Pitiüses també inclouria Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, detectat a dos jaciments de l'illa. Les restes de rates pinyades s'han acumulat bàsicament grà- cies a l'acció d'un o diversos agents bioacumuladors. Com a mínim entre el 57% i el 36,5 % de les espècies que vivien a l'illa en el moment de la colonització humana no hi viuen actualment.

The bat fauna from the Upper Pleistocene and Holocene levels of Es Pouàs (Sant Antoni de Portmany, Eivissa) is presented in this paper. 581 remains belonging to 5- 6 species have been identified: Rhinolophus sp. cf. mehelyi/euryale, Rhinolophus hipposideros, Myotis myotis, Myotis cf. emarginatus and Plecotus cf. austriacus.
The prehuman fauna of the Pityusics also includes Rhinolophus ferrumequinum. The great horsehoe bat has been recorded at two Eivissan deposits. Bat remains from es Pouàs been incorporated into the deposit through the hunting activities of one or more bioacumulator agents. Between 57% and 36.5% of the species living on the island at the time of the human colonization have recently disappeared.
