  • Resumen
    • The volumes 10 and 11 of the Køge series of the Copenhagen Studies in Bilingualism offer articles on various aspects of the language use among bilinguals in Scandinavia, primarily in Denmark, but to a certain extent also in Sweden and Norway. Both volumes are edited by J.Normann Jørgensen at Copenhagen University. The majority of the articles have sprung out of the socalled Køge project—a longitudinal study in which Turkish-Danish bilingual students in the city of Køge south of Copenhagen were followed from grade 1 through grade 9 of the Folkeskole (the Danish public school)(see Turan, 1999). In this review I present the content of each of the two volumes, giving a more detailed account of some of the articles that I find particularly interesting to an international audience.
