    Se trata de estudiar el contenido de los artículos de opinión de José Jiménez Lozano, en el paso del régimen franquista a la Transición, a través de los artículos publicados en el diario Informaciones. El objetivo es verificar el papel que juegan los periodistas como configuradores de la sociedad, no sólo por ser quienes seleccionan y confeccionan las noticias, sino a través de las aportaciones de sus criterios personales. Tomamos como pie la teoría de Pablo Pérez López sobre la importancia de investigar la historia de la prensa en la edad contemporánea, para “tratar de descubrir la conciencia que tuvieron de su tiempo aquellos que, al menos en teoría, hicieron gala de un mayor afán de conocer la actualidad y de transmitir a sus coetáneos sus impresiones en torno a ellas”.

    Se ha procedido a la lectura y análisis de los artículos periodísticos de José Jiménez Lozano en el contexto de la historia de España.

    It deals with studying the content of the articles of José Jiménez Lozano's opinion, during the change of power from the Franco regime to the Transition, with the use of art icles published in the daily paper "Information".

    The aim is to analyse the role that journalists play in shaping public opinion, not only because of their choice and newspaper skills, but also analysing their own personal criteria.

    We take Paul Perez's Lopez theory as a base on the importance of investigating the history of the press in the contemporary era, in order to discover the awareness and opinion those journalists had at that time, at least theoretically speaking, and studying the greater zeal and determination they possessed to find out current issues and to reflect and discuss these issues with their contemporaries. One has proceeded to the read and analyse journalistic articles taken from the context of the history of Spain.
