  Las salinas de Partido de Espartinas han sido objeto de varias publicaciones que han trazado las líneas generales de su evolución histórica desde el Calcolítico hasta el siglo XX. Pero estos trabajos de investigación se han centrado casi exclusivamente en las explotaciones salineras más destacadas, sobre todo Espartinas y Belinchón. Existen, sin embargo, numerosos manantiales de agua más o menos salobre, aunque de muy escaso caudal, que contribuyeron también a la historia de la sal y sus relaciones con otros ámbitos del conocimiento histórico. Esta comunicación destaca la aportación a la historia de la sal de las surgencias salobres próximas a Aranjuez, aguas arriba del Tajo.

  This paper is a contribution to the study of the salt mines of interior, departing from the field works and from the documentation of different files. The “Partido de Espartinas” salines have been the subject of several publications that have traced the outlines of their historical evolution from The Chalcolhitic to The Twentieth Century. But these research efforts have focused almost exclusively on the most important salt mines, especially Espartinas and Belinchón. However, there are numerous springs more or less brackish water, although with a very little volume, which also contributed to the history of salt and its relations with other areas of historical knowledge. This communication highlights the contribution to the history of salt from brackish springs next to Aranjuez.
