Evaluación de competencias docentes

    El propósito de este estudio es identificar y al mismo tiempo evaluar el desempeño docente, especialmente sus competencias, entre profesores que laboran en el Programa Educativo que imparte la carrera de Sociología de la Comunicación y Educación dependiente de la Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGro) durante el periodo febrero al mes de abril de 2015. En este tiempo, se realizaron visitas in situ para aplicar instrumentos cuantitativos y cualitativos de evaluación a docentes, estudiantes y directivos de la institución. Entre los instrumentos, se mencionan, la encuesta, la escala de Likert, la rúbrica, la entrevista y la observación participante que finalmente se procesaron de acuerdo a su propia metodología para posteriormente hacer el análisis respectivo y concluir en la descripción de los hechos. Las diez competencias que se evaluaron son las que la UAGro sugiere a los docentes de nivel superior (licenciatura), de estas competencias, fueron seis las que arrojaron datos no muy satisfactorios, es decir, ubicaron al desempeño docente en niveles mínimos a muy mínimos y el resto en un nivel normal. Los resultados evidencian que los profesores no están desempeñándose completamente con las competencias que sugiere el modelo educativo de la universidad donde laboran

    The purpose of this study is to identify and at the same time to evaluate the teaching performance, especially their competences, among teachers working in an educational program that offer the career of the Sociology of Communication and Education dependent on the Universidad Autonoma de Guerrero (UAGro) during the period February to April 2015. In this time, site visits were made to apply quantitative and qualitative instruments of evaluation for teachers, students and school leaders of the institution. Among the instruments, are mentioned, the survey, the Likert scale, the rubric, the interview and the participant observation that finally were processed according to its own methodology for subsequently to conduct an analysis and conclude in the description of the facts. The ten competences evaluated are the UAGro suggests to teachers higher level (degree), of these skills, were six threw data not very satisfactory, that is to say, placed the teaching performance in minimum levels to very minimal, and the rest in a normal level. The results showed that the teachers are not serving completely with the competences suggests the educational model of the university where they are working.
