From next month, people in the US will be able to use a new app and website called Doctors Report that tracks 15 different diseases across the country, including the common cold, flu, Lyme disease, glandular fever and infections by the hospital superbug MRSA. The tracker will get its information from around 900,000 medical clinics, obtaining anonymised data from the reports sent to insurance companies. Providing doctors keep up with their admin, the app can produce a daily snapshot of disease by zip code, with the option of showing the results by age group too. For each disease, the chart will give a severity rating from ito 10, related to the number of local cases
