Resumen de Obesidad infantil, relación con la Educación Física y pautas de actividad física

  El aumento de la obesidad es un problema creciente dentro de la salud de la población española. La edad infantil es el periodo donde se adquieren los hábitos saludables para el resto de la vida. Numerosas investigaciones afirman que un niño con problemas de obesidad tiene altas probabilidades de sufrir enfermedades como diabetes tipo 2, síndrome metabólico y enfermedades cardiovasculares en la edad adulta. El objetivo de este trabajo es plantear la situación actual en España respecto a la obesidad infantil así como el nivel de actividad física que se realiza. Se realiza un análisis del papel de la Educación Física en los centros escolares, como ámbito influyente en la adquisición de hábitos saludables en el niño. Así mismo, se plantean las diferentes actuaciones propuestas desde los organismos competentes y las recomendaciones de actividad física para aquellos niños con problemas de obesidad.

  The increase of the obesity is a growing problem inside the Spanish population's health. The infantile age is the period where the healthy habits are acquired for the rest of the life. Numerous investigations affirm that a child with problems of obesity has high probabilities of suffering illnesses like diabetes type 2, metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular illnesses in adulthood. The objective of this work is to outline the current situation in Spain regarding the infantile obesity as well as the level of physical activity that is carried out. It´s carried out an analysis of the paper of the Physical Education in the school centers, as influential environment in the acquisition of healthy habits in the child. Likewise, they think about the different performances proposed from the competent organisms and the recommendations of physical activity for those children with problems of obesity.
