El acto de beber de la construcción de la nocturnidad del barrio de Santo Domingo en la ciudad de México

    En este artículo expongo la imbricación de las variables del tiempo y el espacio a partir de una práctica social como lo es el acto de beber. El barrio, como una territorialidad de la ciudad de México, es emblema de la vida urbana, sus noches y sus días están constreñidos al hacer de quienes viven el barrio; el acto de beber como práctica predominante de las noches. Lo que anima a su aproximación desde un punto donde no se le había abordado, como ritual que, a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, ha conservado una matriz de sentido, el sentimiento de estar juntos, ser barrio. Asimismo, diserto en torno al recorrido de mi investigación. Destaco la reflexividad que guió el ejercicio de elaboración entre la teoría y el terreno investigado, donde el instrumento de proximidad fue mi propio bagaje sociocultural, de lo que se deriva una reflexión auspiciada por el enfoque humanista constructivista territorial.

    This article describes how the variables of time and space overlap based on drinking as a social practice. The neighborhood, as the territoriality of Mexico City, is an emblem of urban life, its nights and days are constrained to what those who live in the neighborhood make of them. Drinking is the predominant practice of the night. What animates its approach from a point where it had not been approached before, is as a ritual, which throughout the history of humanity has preserved a matrix of meaning, the feeling of being together, of being a neighborhood. The course of my research and the reflexivity that guided the exercise elaborating the connection between theory and the study terrain, where the instrument for proximity was my own sociocultural background, are also discussed. The reflection derived is backed by territorial humanist constructivism.
