    This article has intention to bring to the discussion on the report "Lighting the Way: Toward a Sustainable Energy Future" by Chu and Goldemberg (2007). The fame of this discussion lies on the possible energy crisis in the use of possibilities of the energy - some of the founding bases of this society - in a more democratic way on behalf of a world sustainability. From this time it is presented in this work some notes concerning the themes discussed by the report that is exempted of giving the feasible direction for a maintainable energy future. Obscuring the issues and the paradigms of society.

    Este artigo tenciona trazer a baila uma reflexão sobre o Relatório “Iluminando o Caminho em prol de um futuro energético sustentável.” elaborado por Chu e Goldemberg (2007). A notoriedade desta discussão se assenta na possível crise energética a nas possibilidades de utilização da energia - uma das bases fundantes desta sociedade - de forma mais democrática em prol de uma sustentabilidade mundial. Desta feita apresentam-se neste trabalho alguns apontamentos acerca dos temas debatidos pelo relatório que se isenta de dar o direcionamento factível para um futuro energético sustentável. Obscurecendo os problemas e os paradigmas desta sociedade.
