"We have to adopt a new way of thinking to face the challenges of our time," said Giuliano Copetti, group technical manager at Seven Refractories, a Slovenia-based refractory products manufacturer.

    Copetti told IM on the sidelines of the conference that European refractory makers "must" innovate their ranges and offer added-value - such as service and technical assistance - to their customer base, in order to remain competitive in an aggressive market dominated by cheaper material from China.
