  • Results of the winter census of Wildfowl and Shorebirds in the Balearic Islands in the years 2003 and 2004. In the year 2003 a total of 24.226 individuals belonging to 63 species were recorded and in the year 2004 a total of 29.193 individuals were recorded, belonging to 64 species. The results are compared with those of other years and in Mallorca and Menorca there is an increase, but in the Pitiüses there is a marked decrease of some species.
