The 20 October 1996 a Radde’s warbler was trapped and ringed on the island of Cabrera. This asiatic warbler is a rare visitor to the Western Palaearctic. The bird captured on Cabrera is the first record for the Balearic islands and it has been accepted by the Spanish Raraties Committee. The last spanish record of this species is from Doñana.
