    El siguiente artículo aborda la política sindical del Partido Comunista de Chile. Se pone en cuestión la tesis que sostiene una supuesta incapacidad de esta organización para adaptarse a los cambios ocurridos en la posdictadura chilena. Para ello, se analiza uno de los principales ámbitos de desarrollo de esta organización política y se concluye que los comunistas chilenos, experimentaron una serie de lentas adaptaciones de sus prácticas en el mundo sindical, las cuales intentaban responder a la realidad del Chile neoliberal. Esto derivó en que, en el primer lustro del siglo XXI, elaboraran una política que incluía en su perspectiva de cambio social a los nuevos movimientos sociales, pero sin desplazar de un rol relevante a los trabajadores en un proceso de cambio social.

    The following paper deals with the trade union policy of the Communist Party of Chile. It calls into question the thesis that defends a supposed inability of this organization to adapt to the changes taking place in the Chilean post–dictatorship. One of the main areas of development of this party is thus analyzed and it is concluded that Chilean Communists experienced slow adaptations of their practices in the trade union world as a response to the reality of neoliberal Chile. During the first half of the 21st century this resulted in the devising of a policy which included the new social movements in their perspective of social change, maintaining the relevant role of the workers in the process.
