    En los últimos tiempos el término de “Parlamento Abierto” se está abriendo pasos en distintos lugares del mundo. El carácter general del término hace que su materialización sea distinta en cada uno de los lugares en los que se adopta. De ahí que consideremos interesante proceder a analizar el “estado del arte” del Parlamento Abierto en España. Comenzaremos analizando las bases jurídicas que posibilitan que se desarrollen iniciativas de Parlamento Abierto en nuestro país. En segundo lugar, entraremos al análisis de los principales logros de Parlamento Abierto que se han desarrollado en torno a las Cortes en España. En tercer lugar, concluiremos este capítulo con una serie de recomendaciones que podrían servir para señalar los próximos pasos que deberían plantearse los parlamentos en España para fortalecer la institución parlamentaria en el contexto social y político actual.

    In recent times the term "Open Parliament" has gained some prominence worldwide. The way the term is adopted is different depending on the country context primarily due to its rather general nature. That is why we consider it interesting to analyze the "State of the Art" of the Open Parliament in Spain. We will begin by analyzing the legal bases that allow the development of Open Parliament initiatives in our country. Second, we will analyze the main achievements of the Open Parliament that have developed in the Courts of Spain. Finally, we will conclude this chapter with a series of recommendations that could serve to indicate next steps that parliaments in Spain should take to strengthen parliamentary institutions in the current social and political context.
