Resumen de El dolor humano: una respuesta de las ciencias de la salud y una reflexión del dolor espiritual para la formación de los cuidadores paliativos

  Este artículo hace una reflexión acerca del dolor humano, a partir de tres momentos: primero, se analiza el dolor como realidad antropológica, luego, se busca dar a entender cómo las ciencias de la salud han aportado a esta realidad, y por último, se hace un análisis del dolor espiritual reconociendo que es importante en el acompañamiento de la persona, sobre todo en los cuidados paliativos. Siendo el objetivo del texto invitar a pensar la forma en que se podría atender el dolor humano de una manera integral.

  The article takes into consideration human pain from a threefold approach. First, it considers pain as an anthropological reality; second, it shows how medical sciences have contributed to such a reality; and finally, it addresses spiritual pain, recognizing how relevant the latter is for the care of patients, mainly for palliative care. Thus, the aim of the article is to motivate a reflection on how to treat human pain in a comprehensive way.
