  • Argex Titanium has developed an advanced chemical process for the volume production of high-grade titanium dioxide (TiO[subscript]2 ) for use in high quality paint, plastics, cosmetics and other applications. The company's unique proprietary process takes a relatively inexpensive and plentiful source material from a variety of potential vendors and produces TiO[subscript]2 along with other valuable by-products.

    The TiO[subscript]2 industry has had a tough run of late, what is Argex's perspective on the sector's prospects? The TiO[subscript]2 market remains depressed and the outlook is uncertain. However, from ongoing discussions with industry producers, we are confident that the Argex technology, with its lower cost of production, offers producers an attractive value proposition based on more profitable and environmentally friendly TiO[subscript]2 production.
