    Adaptation to the consequences of climate change remains a blind spot in local public action aimed at biodiversity conservation. In order to anticipate the effects of climate change and take administrative decisions in uncertain and complex situations, policymakers seek rigorous tools, along with support and assistance. How can territories adapt to climate change? What conceptual and practical questions does this raise? What actions result from such questions? It is with this in mind that the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park is reviewing its policies and practices with regard to climate change, with a view to revising its charter. A test phase has been implemented internally, ending in 2018, to encourage elected representatives, agents and partners associated with the park to highlight specific territorial issues related to biodiversity and climate-change processes. In order to develop a climate-change adaptation strategy for local biodiversity, the park has chosen to review its strategic plan, operations and measures, and analyze the risks and opportunities for biodiversity that are brought about by climate change. Here, the authors make use of land-use planning and conservation sciences to analyze what practical socio-ecological consequences arise and what methodological lessons can be learned as a result of this experimental approach.

    L'adaptation au changement climatique (ACC) demeure l'enfant pauvre de l'action publique locale de conservation de la biodiversité. Comment anticiper les effets des changements climatiques et prendre des décisions dans des situations complexes et incertaines sur un territoire donné ? Quelles questions conceptuelles et pratiques cela soulève-t-il ? La problématique de l’adaptation vient en effet questionner les finalités des politiques en faveur de la biodiversité, leurs référentiels d’action et leurs modalités de mise en œuvre. Pour illustrer ces évolutions, les auteurs s’appuient sur le retour d’expérience du Parc Naturel Régional (PNR) Loire-Anjou-Touraine qui a initié en interne une démarche d’intégration expérimentale. Afin d’élaborer une stratégie d’ACC et d’alimenter la révision de sa charte, le PNR a passé ses actions pour la biodiversité au crible de l’ACC. Cet article mêle sciences de l'aménagement et de la conservation pour analyser les apprentissages et implications socio-écologiques issus de cette expérimentation.
